Faith Is Key

Faith Is Key

“And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.” Hebrews 11:6

“Faith is a living, daring confidence in God’s grace, so sure and certain that a man would stake his life on it a thousand times. This faith alone pleases God, because it alone takes hold of Christ and His righteousness. All other works, however good, cannot please Him without this faith.” Martin Luther

Faith has become a weird word these days—people talk about having “faith” for a private jet, a big check, or a better life. But the Bible shows us what real faith looks like. Hebrews 11 is full of examples: people who trusted God so completely they staked everything on Him.

That’s how we please God—by faith and obedience. He rewards those who seek Him. I’ve seen it true in my own life. Knowing about God didn’t change anything. What changed everything was when I put my full weight on Him and trusted Him—no backup plan, no going back.

It’s no wonder so many intellectuals “deconstruct” Christianity. You can’t figure God out with just your brain. Faith opens the door. Eleven years ago I went all in with Jesus, and my life has never been the same.

You can’t succeed at anything by dipping your toe in or doing it halfway. The same is true with Jesus. If you’re just adding Him to your existing plans for what you can get out of Him, when the storms hit you’ll get shaken and probably walk away. I’ve faced plenty—five miscarriages, hard seasons—but faith in Him is what’s kept me steady.

Put your faith in Jesus today. Go all in. If you’ve drifted, sign back up. You won’t regret it.

Have a great day trusting Him with everything!
