Jesus will bring justice
“For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup with foaming wine, well mixed, and he pours out from it, and all the wicked of the earth shall drain it down to the dregs.” Psalm 75:8
“If I know anything about the character of God after forty years of study, I know that God hates abortion.” R.C. Sproul
My heart is heavy over abortion in our nation and here in Louisiana. Since Roe v. Wade was overturned and our clinics closed, abortions have actually increased—driven by illegal mail-order pills delivered via telemedicine from out-of-state providers. Recent reports show a sharp rise, with telemedicine abortions growing significantly in 2024 and beyond, often exceeding hundreds per month. What should have protected life has become a hidden tragedy. This breaks my heart, and I know it breaks God's.
Yet Psalm 75:8 brings peace: God holds the cup of His righteous judgment. He will pour it out, and those who promote this evil will drain it to the dregs. The Lord sees every innocent life, and vengeance is His—He will repay (Romans 12:19). True justice rests in His hands, not human laws.
This burden isn't mine to carry alone—it's a call to surrender it to Him in prayer and trust, driving us to intercede and act in faith.
This morning, I'm praying for the voiceless in the womb. We must pray fervently and act faithfully, defending life as God leads. He fights for the innocent, and I want to stand with Him.
Would you join me in praying for an end to abortion nationwide? Pray for God's justice, repentant hearts, protection for the unborn, and courage for life defenders. Lord, have mercy. Bring justice. Use us as vessels of Your compassion and truth.
Have a blessed day, resting in the God who sees all and will make things right.
