United in Christ

United in Christ

“I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.” — 1 Corinthians 1:10

“Unity is one of the most powerful testimonies the Church can offer a divided world. Jesus prayed that we would be one… so the world might know His love is real.” — A.W. Tozer

Spend more than three minutes on social media and the division is obvious. Our country is fractured—but what should unite us is Christ. Division between light and darkness makes sense, but division among Christians? That’s heartbreaking. As a new believer, I was shocked to see it in the body of Christ. I thought everyone got along.

Yesterday changed that for me. Seeing 20+ key pastors from the Nashville area gather to make heaven crowded was so encouraging. It’s exactly what’s on God’s heart: getting over our differences to reach the lost. Who would want to come to Jesus when His people are divided?

Unity starts in the church. Let’s find common ground for the sake of the mission. If we don’t stand together, we risk losing the beautiful nation we have. United we stand, divided we fall.

Today, be a bridge. Grab coffee or a meal with someone—way easier than arguing online. Let’s unite under the banner of Jesus and see Him glorified.

Have a great day! Build a bridge, stay united, and point people to Christ!
