Ep. 56: Did the Nephilim Come to America? The Ozarks Evidence Nobody Talks About
Nephilim? Giants? Book of Enoch? Fallen Angels? In Missouri??
In 1934, a man named Sterling Price Newberry unearthed a seven-foot skeleton buried in a Missouri mound near the James River — surrounded by seven normal-sized skeletons arranged in a cross-shaped formation. That same burial pattern has since been found in Sardinia, where researchers uncovered eight-foot skeletons in the identical arrangement.
Coincidence? Or evidence of something far older than American history?
In this episode, Jonathan and David sit down with Nicholas Daigle — hospice nurse turned biblical researcher and author of Genesis 6 and the Ozarks — to trace the Nephilim from the mountains of Canaan all the way to the hills of Missouri.

Author
Nicholas is a native of southeastern Louisiana, born in the New Orleans area and a 2008 graduate of Ponchatoula High School. Shortly after graduation, his family relocated to Lebanon, Missouri, where his stepfather began working as a paramedic at Mercy Hospital.
Nicholas pursued his passion for healthcare by enrolling at Southwest Baptist University (SBU) to study nursing. After two years, he moved to Springfield in 2010 with the intention of continuing into SBU’s nursing program. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, he was unable to complete the program at that time and entered the workforce instead. It was also during this season of life that he met his wife, Abby. The two married and have now shared 13 years together.
In 2016, Nicholas returned to his original calling and successfully completed his Associate of Science in Nursing, earning his RN license. His nursing career has included roles at Maranatha Village and The Manor at Elfindale, but his most meaningful and enduring work has been in hospice care. Nicholas has served a total of five years with Seasons Hospice, where he believes he has truly found his calling.
While working full-time as a registered nurse, Nicholas continued advancing his education, earning both his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master’s degree in Nursing Education. In the spring of 2026, he came full circle by accepting a position as a part-time adjunct nursing instructor at Southwest Baptist University—the same institution where his journey began.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Nicholas is a devoted husband… Read More
