Ep. 47: We Were Told to Abort - God Performed Miracles: Fasting, Faith & Our Son's Healing Testimony
Doctors told us to terminate the pregnancy.
God said: “He’s going to be okay.”
In Episode 47 of Deformed Theology, we share the real story of Jonathan and Lacee's son Charley—a journey that started with a devastating diagnosis and ended in a miracle that defied every medical expectation.
Early in the pregnancy, we were told Charley could be stillborn, have severe brain abnormalities, or live with little to no quality of life. The recommendation was clear: end the pregnancy.
But in the middle of fear, God spoke.
What followed wasn’t easy faith—it was a fight:
– 40+ days of fasting while working physically demanding jobs
– Constant prayer through doubt, fear, and exhaustion
– Weekly medical scans showing no improvement
– A church and community interceding together
– And a promise from God we had to choose to believe
